Notes are hidden pieces of paper which the Hero can collect throughout the game. There are 13 notes in total.
Each appears as a small paper scrap, but once collected can be viewed full size in the game menu, by selecting the "Notes" button. Any note that hasn't been found will appear as a question mark.

After repairing the Cartographer's elevator, take it down from the top, and walk right midway to the bottom. On the left is a thorny tree, and on the right there is a small ledge that can be stood upon. Interact with the right wall, and a passageway will open. Jump up to the platform to collect the note. |
