Editing Notes

Notes are hidden pieces of paper which [[Characters#The Hero|the Hero]] can collect throughout the game.  There are 13 notes in total.

Each appears as a small paper scrap, but once collected can be viewed full size in the game menu, by selecting the "Notes" button.  Any note that hasn't been found will appear as a question mark.

|This is a Polaroid photograph dated 1/9/1994. It appears to capture the protagonist's murdered son lovingly holding up the protagonist's granddaughter as a child.

|This is a piece of lined paper with a recipe for "Mom's Cookies" written on it. One imagines it was written by the protagonist's granddaughter as dictated by her mother, the protagonist's daughter-in-law.

|This is a crumpled up note with the words "Piggy" and "Oink" written next to an accompanying cartoon pig drawing. Presumably, this was a note given to the protagonist's granddaughter by another child as a form of bullying.

|This is a Valentine's Day card addressed "To: Me" and "From: Me". Presumably, this was made by the protagonist's granddaughter and highlights the mental anguish she felt that led to her eventual suicide.

|After repairing the [[Characters#The Cartographer|Cartographer's]] elevator, take it '''down''' from the top, and walk right midway to the bottom.  On the left is a thorny tree, and on the right there is a small ledge that can be stood upon.  Interact with the right wall, and a passageway will open.  Jump up to the platform to collect the note.
|This appears to be a school photo of the protagonist's granddaughter's class. The protagonist's granddaughter appears in the front row on the right hand side of the photo; she appears unhappy.

|This is a note on lined paper. Only the last line is legible, which reads "I can't do this anymore". Presumably this is the suicide note left by the protagonist's granddaughter.

|The [[Characters#The Cartographer|Cartographer]] drops it once you lower the bridge and enter the Cartographer's house. You must talk to him to receive it. He says it is a map he drew.

|This is a photograph depicting two families together. The fathers are embraced in a side hug and appear to be good friends. Presumably, the dark-haired bearded father is the the protagonist's murdered son. And, the blonde-haired father is presumably the also-dead father of the protagonist's adopted granddaughter.
