INMOST released on Apple Arcade on October 11, 2019.

PC Version

1.0.1

INMOST 1.0.1 released on September 1, 2020. It contained a number of small fixes and adjustments to address issues reported post-release.

  • General quality of life improvements
  • Arrow puzzle nows work as intended
  • Collectable notes now carry over from save to save
  • Cave monster now considers the player edible
  • Moving objects near the cave monster will no longer cause the player to become stuck in webs
  • Ladders now have reinforced rungs and are easier to climb and dismount
  • Bird monster no longer ignores game pause and respects the players intention to take a break
  • Charcters regained memories and missing dialogs have been restored
  • Caged monster can now be more easily released
  • Enemies can no longer penetrate slime barriers
  • Enemies are now more aggressive towards the player
  • Boar monster is slightly easier to matador
  • Boar monster no longer trembles
  • Slime barriers despawn correctly on Knight levels

Update 2.0 released on Apple Arcade on August 21, 2020. It added new content, fixes, and cutscenes to content match the PC/Console versions.

  • New locations and puzzles which help to bring out the story
  • New NPCs with additional dialogue, quests and story

  • New intro sequence and in-game cutscenes

  • New sound effects (including for hidden gems)

Update 1.08 released on Apple Arcade on March 4, 2020. It included bug fixes for apple devices.

  • Added an ability to change subtitles language in the settings
  • Volume of dialogs, sounds and music now can be adjusted
  • New touch control scheme with on-screen buttons added. Player can choose between two control schemes
  • Lots of small improvements of locations geometry and level design
  • New saving system based on lanterns
  • Additional story checkpoints implemented
  • Added dynamic save slot to keep player's progress between story checkpoints

Update 1.01 released on Apple Arcade on October 14, 2019. It included critical bug fixes for touch screen controls on some devices.

  • Fixed 'new game' button not responding on some devices via touch control
  • Fixed crashing related to loading saves and transition between scenes. Problems with saves no longer corrupt game progress.
  • Added indicators (lanterns) near save points
  • Added new dialog, mainly for girl and rabbit
  • Simplified some unclear sequences, like the girl crawling in the ventilation pipe
  • Fixed minor bugs and issues based on player feedback
